If you’re transporting dangerous goods, then you will need to have a dangerous goods (D) endorsement on your driver licence. This course is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills required to transport and handle dangerous goods both legally and safely and covers Unit Standard 16718. If you hold a valid Class 1 New Zealand Car Licence (Learner, Restricted or Full) then you are eligible to attend this course. This endorsement requires renewal every five (5) years.

Price per Trainee: $340 including GST, or bring-a-friend1 and both you and your friend will only pay $300 including GST each.

If you're operating a forklift, and/or operating a forklift on a road, then you need to be formally trained. This training goes towards the obligations for both yourself and your employer with HWSA. This course is designed to produce operators who can operate a forklift in a safe, efficient and legal maner, along with improving your operating technique and awareness of the safety and mechanical implications of forklift operation

Who is FIT training?

Forklift Industrial Training (FIT) is based in Hamilton, however we conduct community courses, and on-site training, anywhere in Hamilton, the greater Waikato area, as well as Mt Maunganui, Tauranga, Taupo and Auckland. 

We provide training for the following endorsements - Dangerous Goods by Road (D), Wheels (W), Rollers (R), and Tracks (T), Forklift, Attachments and Platforms.

We offer training that is a little different from the norm! Our qualified trainers come from industry, and step outside of the often 'expected' dry training environment by providing a 'fresh', interactive, class friendly experience that engages everyone, even those who are veterans within the industry.We complete community training at our training facilities, or on-site at your facility.

We also offer a unique 'one-on-one' service (no minimum attendee's).

 One-on-One Courses...

FIT offers a unique opportunity for one-on-one trainer and trainee interactions for all courses provided by us. This experience allows a trainee to learn faster, master more material, remember their course work and enjoy learning.

One-on-one training is available to individual's who needed their licence yesterday, or companies who would prefer a dedicated, on-call and/or urgent service.

There are some conditions that apply, but generally, the cost for a one-on-one is no more than if you were to visit us to attend your course.
